Our Independent Living apartments are for seniors who do not require routine personal assistance and care but recognize the benefit and convenience of living in a community. Retirement community living relieves our residents of the burden of home-maintenance and gives them more time to enjoy family, friends and hobbies.
Our Assisted Living apartments are for individuals who need some routine personal assistance with normal activities of daily living, but want to maintain as much independence as possible. Assisted Living residents will have all the same kinds of benefits of Independent Living residents, with the addition of services such as medication management, healthcare monitoring, bathing & grooming assistance and the peace of mind that comes from 24 hour staffing.
In order to be placed on the waiting list for an Independent Living or Assisted Living apartment at Living Care Retirement Community, you’d fill out a rental application and return it to the appropriate admissions office. It does not cost anything to be placed on our waiting lists and you are not penalized if you turn down an apartment when we call on you. On the application for our independent apartments, the application asks which buildings and options (1 bedroom, 2 bedroom) you would like to be considered for. In order to help you with these selections, we strongly encourage you to come and tour our campus prior to filling out the application, but this is not required.
